Inside the museum are the following spaces
1/ Ground floor
The lobby creates an overwhelming feeling among visitors thanks to a 100% ceramic lamp set, five floors high, inspired by the legend of The Descendants of The Dragon and The Fairy; Son Ha painting - using the image of a dragon-headed, phoenix-beaked mascot to express the majestic beauty of the country; Cam Tu painting with King blue color, extremely difficult to make.
Four Seasons Lotus painting - Spring Summer Autumn Winter, depicts the flow of time and the philosophy of reincarnation - lotus blooming in spring, sunshine shining in summer, the sky filled with dragonflies in autumn, signaling the change of weather, and leaves falling and flowers fading in winter.
The ground floor is also for displaying Minh Long's smallest ceramic products, only a few centimeters, representing culture and arts in Vietnam.
The Fashion area showcases ceramic objects with the high artistic values. The highlight is the three statues of women from Vietnam’s three regions - North, Centre and South, with 1.7m high, fired in one block.
Going further inside, visitors can stop to admire the Butterfly Clock painting with hundreds of butterflies converging like a fairy dream; or stroll to admire the colorful tulips with each flower and leaf sculpted to life size.
The final area on the ground floor is devoted to displaying large, unique vases and oversized products.
2/ Basement
The basement of the museum building is designed for simulating a traditional pottery village with bronze statues recreating the process of making pottery.
Leaving the village, we come to the performance stage with ceramic musical instruments. Next is the kiln - Minh Long's “revolutionary” kiln, marking the first in history that a flat kiln can burn from oxygen to reduction.
3/ Factory with both manual and modern methods
The final point is Minh Long's current production area, with all ceramic items – from those made by skilled hands of Minh Long artisans to modern mass production with the state-of-the-art robots.
4/ Handicrafts of the highest quality
Advancing to the area displaying the highest quality products, visitors cannot help but be amazed by the masterpieces made by Minh Long skilled artisans. Each hand-painted vase has its own story, told through skillful strokes and vivid colors. Here, each work is a “unique version”. This is a space not to be missed for those who appreciate the uniqueness and the value of pure handmade.
5/ Traditional House
Entering the traditional house, visitors seem to go back in time, back to the difficult but determined early days of an artisan who devoted his passion to ceramics. There, each artifact, each story has its own vitality, becoming real and vivid memories. The traditional house is not only to see, but also to feel that there is a great aspiration that has been written like that.
