The talk with the young singer Truong Kha lasted longer because the psychic topics - life became so attractive with his sincere and simple words.

THE SINGER WITH A PASSION FOR BUDDHISM

Born into a family of Vietnamese father and Chinese mother, Kha has the bilingual advantage, which helps him a lot with the economic projects he’s been doing.

Besides, Kha has an aptitude for art such as writing, painting and singing… That’s why, right from the time at Son Tinh 1 high school (now, Vo Nguyen Giap high school - Quang Ngai), he used to bring back school many awards for literature, art and a clear young dream of becoming an artist singer in his home country of Vietnam.

However… life is never so simple. In 1996, leaving his hometown Quang Ngai, the sun-burnt poor land of the central province for his career path in Saigon, from the initial embarrassment, Kha tried to mingle in the exciting busy-ness of the big city and suffered all the clash of the struggling life… And right at the moment, Kha found Buddhism.

It’s true to say this spiritual world helped Kha to calm down, finding the oneness of the mind and heart to enjoy the miracle of life… After excursions to over 100 countries around the world, back to Vietnam, Kha wrote many newspaper articles sharing the lives of Buddhists in Tibet. He said Tibet opened to him a spiritual world, helping him with many unique experiences with the teachings of holly Tibetan dharma.

Since then, Kha’s got imbued with a wish: When his life gets stable, he’ll use his gifted ability to work for art. He’s given his voice to interactions with the soul of his peers to help them appreciate Buddhism via his voice of heart’s resonance.

THE VOICE TOWARDS PEACEFUL RIGHTEOUSNESS

After many years’ traveling, Kha’s hard work has got sweet fruitfulness. Now his economy being stable, he’s satisfied with his job orientation he’s worked out for himself…

Recently, in his mind emerged a new inspiration, urging, reminding him of something he’s promised himself for a long time… Recalling past memories, his dreams of school time come back to him… Love for art.

Thinking led to doing… Getting the help from Chi Thanh, his adopted brother, also a famous singer of the Chinese community in HCMC, Kha plunged in art and has worked without rest. Apart from the recording project, Kha is also a director of the MVs and writer of the songs with the tune of Tibet - the land where he started learning Buddhism. To remember the land “cloudy paths in snowy land”, probably, music only can convey all what Kha wanted to share.

Different from some budding young pop singers who are struggling to win fans, wishing to become celebs, Truong Kha has chosen his own pathway: he’s calm, pleasant with his determination of saying no to the scandalous tricks. Kha believes art is something granted by God, which also needs passion and training to create faith in audiences. He also thinks, human sublimation develops in a short time. That’s why art needs to stop humans at the right time and right place…

With his gifted voice, Kha believes it will serve sacred and charitable addresses… Patients with their bodily pain whose mind is worn out a lot. When he sings, the tune will move them, help them turn more optimistic about life…

After completing the music project, what will you be doing?

With a smile, Kha says: “I’ll visit those who used to help me.” He would like to say thanks to all the benefactors. They taught him the truth which he applied in today’s living maxim. Besides, Kha wishes to help those with same mind, lifting their will with materialistic and spiritual he can offer with all his might.

He’s put his heart in the community… silently doing the jobs he likes, thinking: As a human being, when you love, your heart opens; when you share, you’ll get mystic gratifications from heaven.

Life is short… Kha wishes everyone to put away sorrows to receive sincerity, joyfulness, which will help them overcome the spiritual storms and become stronger with life, though at the end, all is something that comes very shortly…
