With the achievements and experiences, Thanh Hang would like to share with Saigon New Day in her new role, yet: CEO of beU Adademy, fashion academy.

Will you tell us the reason why you had the need to establish beU Academy?

Being a woman, I know well what women need in embellishing themselves and self-assertion. There are many women who dare not dream of or doing something for themselves. That’s why I wished to share my experiences I had luckily got throughout the years working as a fashion model to help get them more confident. Besides, I also wished to give an overall orientation to the young ones who had a dream to become professional models, a view that would be clearer and more proper - if they wanted to be committed to the career for the long run.
A bigger dream, obtaining a fame for a Vietnamese brand in the area.

What does beU Academy bring to those who wish to become professional models?

The Academy not only trains models, but also helps everyone with lots of living skills – getting them more confident and looking better with their own style. beU Academy is where all women who love beauty and the beauty that is skin deep seek the good contacts with all people around them, but as an independent and
modern person as they need to be.

beU Academay is the heart of mine and beU Models - the organization currently managing models in Vietnam, which is getting success on the fashion market at home and the world over, I mean Tuyet Lan, Hoang Thuy, Kha My Van, Mau Thuy, Cha Mi…

With the strategy to train and build up the new generation of models having competence to do professional activities in Vietnam and abroad, beU Academy is invested with scientific course syllabus and premises, trainers, ready to meet the stricter and stricter needs of the catwalk of home professional fashion performances and those of the world’s fashion capitals.

We won’t be happy with that halt, beU Academy will support all those who have a wish to change themselves, to discover the strengths and weaknesses, rendering themselves confident to make success in life. We won’t only turn real youth’s dream to be models, but also to get them more confident with their dress taste and inspire their inner potentialities.

You’re not only a supermodel having success of many reputable awards such as The Best Model of Vietnam, Top 15 Miss Intercontinental (2005), The Woman of the Decade (2015), Fashion Symbol - Elle Style Award 2016, you
are also a muti-talented actress with “The Best Actress of Yellow Apricot Award” (2008)…What is the cause of the achievements?

I think one’s own beauty isn’t good enough to fuel her to gain success; however, success asks of me the professional working style and a refined taste for beauty, which renders me to grasp the ideas of the designer plus my impressive way of catwalking, in general. Besides, many years’ work experience at home and abroad also helps get me more confident and build up my own character.

Being a celebrity, when doing the role of CEO, what kind of advantages and disadvantages do you have?

Earlier I told you, today’s success is rendered by my effort to learn and by my past experiences. I’ve been integrating my own professional working style and my confidence, my own character that has been acclaimed plus my love for learning to the new role; and I wish beU Academy an early assertion thereof.

What expectation do you have for beU Academy and Vietnam’s next generations of fashion models?

beU Academy not only trains the new generation of models to meet the strict requirements of the professional fashion catwalk at home and abroad, but also a place where all those who wish to change themselves get help, looking forwards to life’s better values and more confidence.

I wish the students of beU Academy to recognize their true ability, confidence to pursue and develop a professional skill, and their own character as well. 

When I met the students of the first  course, I found many of them a bit too timid, too shy. However, after the training course at beU Academy, they became more confident, and thus changed not only their appearance but also their thoughts. The result gave them the confidence and a sense of seriousness about the career, and their independence from others. I have ever expected such a thing in the students and the next generation of models of Vietnam.
